WADE

Robert L. “Bob” Wade, age 81 of Alto, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Wade. Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beatrice Wade; daughters, Julie Feasal, Elizabeth (Jorgen) Noah, Sara (Imran) Affani; grandchildren, Crystal Feasal, Ryan Feasal, Cailin (Jake) VanderZanden, Liam (Bell) Noah, Jillian Noah, Michael Noah, Azeem Affani, Amira Affani, Tariq Affani; great-grandchildren, Nate Feasal, Navy VanderZanden; brother, William (Linda) Wade; sister, Ruth (David) Cameron; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving as a Naval Corpsman from 1963-1967. He retired from Wittenbach Sales after many years of service. Bob had a wonderful sense of humor that will truly be missed. He was a true outdoorsman/mountain man, who enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and raising 4H horses.

He was a loving and kind husband, who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughters and grandchildren. Bob was a devoted Christian and longtime member of Grace Immanuel Reformed Baptist Church, that lived his testimony. Family greeted friends and relatives from 6-8pm Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson St, Lowell, Michigan 49331. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Grace Immanuel Reformed Baptist Church, 860 Peachcrest Ct. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505, with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment Bowne Center Cemetery.
