After 11 seasons at the helm of Lowell’s Wrestling program, head coach R.J. Boudro made it official today, he’s stepping aside to take on the head coaching position at NCAA Division II Grand Valley State University.
A moment of history. Girls sports broke through in the 1970’s in Michigan high schools after a near 50 year break. Now 50 years later, the sport of girls wrestling is blossoming not just at LHS, but in the state of Michigan.
The Red Arrows will match up with Three Rivers in Saturday’s semifinal.
Teams came from as far as Oklahoma with most out of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. Lowell was the lone Michigan team that competed.
