Helen loved her family, cooking, baking and bargain hunting, maybe not always in that order! Helen loved the Lord with all her heart, first and foremost.

Patricia was a Lowell Graduate and St Mary’s Mercy, Grand Rapids School of Nursing, becoming a licensed registered nurse. She retired from Pine Rest Christian Hospital Nursing Service. She loved caring for others, traveling and having family time.

He attended Lowell High School and was very proud to have joined the United States Air Force at the age of 18. He worked at King Milling Company in Lowell for 43 years and worked his way up to Superintendent, of which he served for 15 years before retiring in 1993. He enjoyed hunting and boating and especially loved teaching his young relatives and friends to water ski.

Dan enjoyed a quiet and simple life, spending his time reading, watching movies, gaming and enjoying time with family while being a great uncle to his niece and nephews.

Beau was an amazing son, loving husband, and adoring father. He treasured spending time with his kids; from dirt biking to Lowell Wrestling Club, he was very involved in every aspect of their lives. Beau enjoyed hunting and was a part of Men of Impact group.

For over 50 years, Dee and Charlie lived in Lowell actively participating in community events and raising four children. She made many lifelong friends in Lowell and Dee always exclaimed that she loved “Lowell’s friendly warmth” and the opportunity to befriend other fun women raising families. Dee and the other moms in town especially enjoyed watching their children compete at swimming meets at the Lowell YMCA pool during the summers.

She will be remembered as a loving, caring, selfless, faith-filled, lady whose life was full of goodness and service to others.

While raising three children, Brooke also earned a Dr. in Education from Northern Illinois University in 1986 and soon after became a professor at Elgin Community College where she would retire from teaching in 2018.  Brooke and Frank were avid fans of University of Michigan football & also season ticket holders to the Big House in Ann Arbor.

Through the journeys of his life, he became a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, who eventually would retire from Mid-Michigan Livestock Services in Ovid. Dean was a bit of a renaissance man with a vast array of interests.

Jim earned his MA in Industrial Arts from CMU after graduating in the class of 1953 from Catholic Central. A Navy veteran, he dedicated himself to various endeavors, including teaching at Forest Hills Public Schools, working at Design Underwriting, and owning Lowell Water Works Carwash.

He served in the Army from 1964-1966. He spent the majority of his career as a Foreman for Visser Brothers Inc., until he retired in 2006. Tom loved fishing, hunting, nature, and gardening. One of his favorite activities included fishing at Blue Lake. Tom was an avid animal lover and enjoyed caring for the many outdoor cats that staked their claim on Tom’s property.

She loved to paint, crochet and bird watching. Pat was very loving and giving to all. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331 with a visitation one hour prior.

He joined the U.S. Air Force and carried out a majority of his service at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado, including an active-duty tour to Saudi Arabia. A high point of his career was doing security detail for Air Force One. He enjoyed his job at the United States Postal Service in Lowell, where he developed many lasting friendships with coworkers.

Bob’s love for classic cars asserts quite a collection, he was often found cruising a car show, or just strolling around town in his cherished 1946 red Mercury; signature white hair, unpredictable comments, and always memorable stories.

She was a lifelong Lutheran and a member of the Good Shephard Lutheran Church in Lowell. Rose held an officer role for Women of the Moose in Lowell and served as a bowling secretary for many bowling leagues.

Sharon dedicated her life to caring for others, first running a home for the elderly and later contributing her warmth and kindness at a nursing home.

As for the life and legacy of Jessica, it would be impossible to put into words the magnitude of who she was in paragraph form; words just do not do her justice, but much can still be said to highlight some of the best pieces for us to take home and hold tight as her story… To know Jessie was to love her.

Phillip dedicated himself to various construction jobs. Additionally, he served as a warm and welcoming greeter at Impact Church, where his infectious energy and radiant spirit left an indelible mark on the congregation. If you ever attended Impact Church, chances are you were embraced by Phillip's genuine smile, accompanied by a hug or a handshake. His joyful presence at the front door made it a happy place for everyone who crossed its threshold.
