GOGGIN

Mary (Richmond) Goggin of Naples, FL died May 18, 2024. She was the daughter of Harry and Irma (Eickhoff) Richmond of Lowell; being born April 7, 1937 at her parents farm in Vergennes Township, MI. She graduated from St. Patrick High School in Parnell, in 1955. Mary briefly attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids before marrying James Goggin in 1957. The couple moved to Texas and Wisconsin before finally settling in the Denver, Colorado suburbs. Mary and Jim were the parents of four children: James, Patrick, Michael and Shannon. She earned an AS degree in Computer Systems from Front Range Community College in Denver, and subsequently took a job with the local Public School District No. 12 and later at Denver International Airport. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Northglenn, CO. In 2020, Mary relocated from Denver to Naples, Florida to live in an assisted living home near her son Patrick and his family. She was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband Jim (in 1986), her brother Dave (Mary) Richmond, brother Robert Richmond and brother Jerry (Diane) Richmond. She is survived by her children and their families as well as by her sister-in-law Linda Richmond of Salisbury, MD and 10 Richmond nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place.
