RINARD

John L. Rinard of Lowell, Michigan, September 30, 1937-2025, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his beloved wife, Betsy, their son and daughters, and other close relatives. John was married to Betsy for 65 years, and together they raised four children: Ann Bennett, Dena Arner, Kelly (Bruce) Ritzema, and Patrick (Nysha) Rinard. A proud veteran, John served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958 and continued his commitment to service with the Army Security Agency reserves until June of 1963. Following his military career, he worked at Lowell Light and Power before joining LE Meyers Co., where he spent 50 fulfilling years as a member of the IBEW Local 876. After retiring, John and Betsy moved to Arizona, where they enjoyed the remaining years of his life. John was the second of seven kids. He was preceded in death by his mother, Aida, and his father, Roy. John will be remembered for his dedication to his unwavering commitment to his work.
